ICI Bucharest organized, November 24, 2025, at the Palace of Parliament, in the Romanian Senate, the workshop “The defense industry facing Dual-Use Technologies & NATO Requirements”, an event dedicated to how the defense industry responds to accelerated technological developments and current NATO requirements.

In the context of discussions on dual-use technologies and NATO requirements, ICI Bucharest signed, together with the “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați (Universitatea „Dunărea de Jos” din Galați) – Center for Mobility Technologies (CTM) and ITH Management Office, a Memorandum of Understanding for the development of a national center for testing technologies with potential cyber risks.

”Through this workshop, we facilitated a framework for dialogue between companies, integrators, academia and state institutions, in which directions of action and possible investment priorities relevant to Romania were discussed. Also, the signing of the Memorandum represents a concrete step towards developing the capacity to test and assess the security of critical technologies, to reduce the risks associated with malware and malicious applications. ICI Bucharest will continue to support collaboration between research, industry and Euro-Atlantic partners to contribute to the development of secure solutions compatible with current requirements,” stated Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest.
