Mireille Radoi: A new cohort to the Business Intelligence MBA at Bucharest Business School (BBS)

On October 7, we welcomed a new cohort to the Business Intelligence MBA at Bucharest Business School (BBS), a moment that is always meaningful, both for our community and for me as Program Director. When we launched this program, the strategic importance of Business Intelligence was far less prominent in mainstream business conversations than it is today. As organizations increasingly rely on data to navigate uncertainty, anticipate change, and make better decisions, the relevance of our mission has only grown stronger. This year, we welcomed our most competitive cohort to date, while our recent AMBA re-accreditation for another five years reaffirms our commitment to academic quality and continuous improvement. These milestones are encouraging, but what matters most is how we translate this recognition into a meaningful learning experience for our students. One of the most rewarding aspects of this journey is seeing our community grow. At the opening event, our first-year students shared their fresh perspectives and ambitions, and were warmly welcomed by their second-year colleagues and our alumni. That combination of analytical thinking, strategic perspective, and meaningful professional connections is at the heart of what we aim to build through this MBA.
I would like to thank everyone who contributes to this journey: Vasile Alecsandru Strat, Dean of Bucharest Business School (BBS @ ASE), for his continued leadership and support. George Alexe and the HERMES Association for their contribution to a vibrant student community. Mihai Marc and our partners at Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) for supporting our academic mobility program in Berlin and broadening our students’ international perspectives. Our faculty, students, alumni, and business partners, whose engagement makes this community stronger every year. I look forward to seeing our students challenge assumptions, turn data into insight, and translate insight into meaningful business impact. Here’s to a year of learning, collaboration, and ideas that make a difference.
