As part of the meetings organised under the Cypriot Presidency of the EU, on the occasion of the informal JHA Council, I had the pleasure of meeting again my long-time friend Raed Arafat, State Secretary at Romania’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.

I welcomed him at the Embassy together with Police Chief Nușa Coman, Director General for International Relations at MAI. A valuable exchange in a complex European context.
