Farewell audience with the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides. We recalled important moments from the past five years of cooperation, beginning with the period when he was serving as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Our discussion focused not only on Romania–Cyprus bilateral relations, but also on the broader regional and international developments in today’s complex geopolitical environment. I would like to thank President Christodoulides for the warm and appreciative words addressed to me at the end of my mandate in the Republic of Cyprus.
