🛳️ Black Sea Security and Connectivity in an Evolving Euro-Atlantic Environment (co-hosted by German Marshal Fund and GlobalFocus Center).

🛡️The Black Sea has re-emerged as a critical geopolitical theater where Euro-Atlantic security intersects with economic connectivity and strategic competition. Disruptions to traditional maritime routes have underscored the urgent need for alternative corridors linking Europe with the South Caucasus, the Caspian basin, and Central Asia.

🌍This session examined how Black Sea dynamics are shifting from a regional concern to a broader Euro-Atlantic strategic priority. Experts focused on how infrastructure initiatives such as Armenia’s Crossroads of Peace, the TRIPP project, and the Middle Corridor can enhance resilience and rules-based cooperation within frameworks like the EU’s Global Gateway.
