Signed, sealed, delivered – building a new economic bridge between Europe and the Indo-Pacific!

Today in New Delhi, at the headquarters of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding between FICCI and the India & Southeast Asia – Romania Chamber of Commerce (ISEARCC).

The signing took place in the presence of State Secretary Clara Volintiru and H.E. Sena Latif, Ambassador of Romania to India, reflecting the shared commitment to strengthening economic cooperation between Romania, the European Union, India and Southeast Asia.

The India & Southeast Asia Romania Chamber of Commerce (ISEARCC) aims to support partnerships between businesses, institutions and innovators across these regions and to position Romania as a gateway to the European Union and the Black Sea region for Indo-Pacific partners.

Through business dialogue, investment facilitation and knowledge exchange, the Chamber works to build new economic bridges linking European markets with the fast-growing economies of India and Southeast Asia.

Our partnership with FICCI, India’s apex industry association, will help facilitate cooperation across sectors including technology and digital innovation, energy and sustainability, logistics and infrastructure, agriculture and food systems, and defense and security industries.

This MoU marks an important step toward stronger economic ties across one of the most dynamic regions of the global economy.
