Honored and grateful for the distinction received during the “100 Years of CIGRE Romania” Anniversary Gala. ⚡️

It was a special moment celebrating a community that has contributed for a century to the development of the power sector and to international technical collaboration. I was also glad to moderate part of the gala and present awards to some of the most respected personalities in the Romanian energy sector — people who helped build the foundations of the power system we continue to develop today. 🇷🇴

I dedicated this recognition to the CIGRE NGN Romania community, which I have had the privilege to develop over the past 4 years as Chairman and which today brings together nearly 100 young professionals from across the energy sector. It is truly motivating to see a new generation eager to contribute, learn, and represent Romania within a global technical community. 🏆

I also used this opportunity to share a message with leaders from companies and universities: we need to further encourage young professionals to engage in research, publish technical papers, participate in international conferences, and become actively involved in professional communities such as CIGRE. Romania has projects, expertise, and talented people that deserve greater international visibility. 🌍
