⚡️ I recently had the opportunity to speak with Ziarul Financiar about the transformation of the energy sector and the challenges and opportunities ahead.

In the interview, we discussed the investments needed in grids and new generation capacity, electrification, energy storage, AI and data centres, as well as the need to accelerate the development of energy projects in Romania. 🇷🇴

🌍 We also talked about my new role as International Chairman of CIGRE NGN and the importance of bringing the next generation of professionals closer to the technical and scientific community.

👥 The energy transition will require much more than engineers. We need technicians, economists, lawyers, project managers, researchers and people who can bring investment and innovation into the system.

Thank you, Roxana Petrescu, and Ziarul Financiar for the invitation and for the very engaging discussion.
