It is with pleasure that I share the outcome of today’s meeting of the NATO DIANA Board of Directors in Madrid, Spain.
As a Principal Member of the Board, I am pleased to confirm that Romania’s proposal for a national affiliated DIANA Accelerator, to be hosted by the Universitatea POLITEHNICA din București, together with #five(5) #new#Test#Centres, has been advanced under the new affiliation framework.
Official onboarding for the DIANA Accelerator in Romania will now commence!
This will further strengthen DIANA’s geographical reach and enhance the Alliance’s access to high-calibre dual-use capabilities in South-Eastern Europe and BlackSeaRegion.

Romania’s commitment to NATO’s defence innovation objectives is greatly valued.
