⚡️ Inspiring discussions with the next generation of energy professionals at the 20th edition of the AIEE – Association of Energy and Electrical Engineers Forum: Career in the Energy Industry 2026.

💭 This week, I had the pleasure of speaking to a full auditorium of students and young engineers about something that goes beyond jobs and titles: building a meaningful career in the energy sector.

💡 I shared parts of my own journey — the uncertainties, difficult choices, opportunities, and lessons learned along the way — and connected them with the broader mission we work on every day at Transelectrica: operating and modernizing Romania’s power transmission grid, accelerating digitalization, and preparing the energy system for the future.

🎓 My message to the students was simple:
You do not need a perfect CV to start. Curiosity, consistency, and the willingness to learn matter far more in the long run.

🔋 Every MWh that reaches a hospital, a metro system, a business, or someone’s home passes through infrastructure operated by dedicated professionals behind the scenes. And our sector needs a new generation ready to shape what comes next.
