It has been an honour to invite to the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest policymakers, international experts, ambassadors, academics, entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders of industry for this year’s DISB. Together, we discussed some of the most important issues for our digital future (critical infrastructure, artificial intelligence, cyber diplomacy, blockchain technologies, digital education).
The real value of this summit comes from the exchange of views and the partnerships resulting from those discussions. As technology becomes increasingly significant in terms of security, economic growth, and the governance of public affairs, the importance of inter-institutional, academic-industrial collaboration can no longer be overstated.
I would therefore like to thank all the speakers, partners, and participants for their valuable contributions, as well as the ICI Bucharest team and media partners for their support in organizing this event.
