We met with the new leader of the Turkish Cypriot community, Tufan Erhürman. I congratulated President Erhürman on his election and wished him every success in his new mandate. We had an engaging exchange of views on the key aspects of the Cyprus issue, as well as on the evolving dynamics in the Eastern Mediterranean, against the backdrop of an increasingly complex and rapidly changing international environment.
