Mayor of Warsaw and fmr presidential candidate Rafał Trzaskowski being an amazing chair (really could teach a lesson to any professional moderator!) to the session on Illiberalism, Inequality and Broternity: The Trumpian Revolution and Its Impact on Europe, at the Time to Decide Summit of the ERSTE Foundation in Vienna.

This year, the summit also marks the launch or our own Europe’s Futures Initiative, a new project meant to offer a platform to change-makers seeking to revive Europe and its role in the world.

Among other speakers in this session and others: Albanian historian and writer Lea Ypi, fmr US Assistant Secretary of State Jim O’Brian, Director of the Istituto Affari Internazionali – IAI Nathalie Tocci, Bulgarian writer and IWM Fellow Ivan Krastev, Stanford University Senior Fellow and writer Francis Fukuyama, Carnegie Europe director Rosa Balfour and senior fellow Judy Dempsey, Director of the VACLAV HAVEL LIBRARY FOUNDATION and writer Tomas Sedlacek , fmr Austrian Chancellor and now president of the Europe’s Futures Initiative Alexander Schallenberg.
