Last week I was happy to host in my class of Geopolitics of Eastern Europe SNSPA Alumnus Dragos Rizescu – an expert with more than 10 years experience in the field of energy and currently Head of Short Term Energy at Engie, and a graduate of College of Europe Brugge and Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest. I admire Dragos expertise and I was honoured to reconnect with him also as an Aspen Young Leaders Fellow last year and I am happy that he accepted to share his insights of the complicated topics of energy geopolitics with our MA students. Maps and energy routes – before and after the full scale invasion in Ukraine – have sparked dense debates and we are grateful for Dragos expert view and problematisation. We definitely left the room with more insights into the intricate web of interests in the Black Sea region. Many Thanks!
