A fantastic week at Platform Markets Group Antibes, and really happy to meet again wonderful people and friends from this amazing industry!

A few takeaways from Platform Global 2026 in Antibes:

• AI infrastructure is clearly entering a major investment cycle, but the real challenge is shifting from demand to execution.

• Power availability and time-to-power are becoming more important than location. Grid connections, electrical infrastructure, cooling and permitting will determine which projects are actually delivered.

• Inference will grow faster than training and will change the geography of data centres. We will need both large AI campuses and smaller regional or edge facilities closer to users.

• Sovereign AI is gaining momentum in Europe, creating demand for local compute capacity, secure data infrastructure and stronger regional cooperation.

To conclude, winners will not necessarily be those announcing the most gigawatts, but those able to combine power, financing, connectivity and execution — and turn planned capacity into operational infrastructure.
